The 22nd International Istanbul Yarn Fair Prepares to Meet the Industry for the Second Time
Istanbul, bridging Europe and Asia, is preparing to host one of the largest international trade centers for the textile industry. The 22nd International Istanbul Yarn Fair will bring together both global participants and thousands of professional visitors under one roof.
The International Istanbul Yarn Fair, the largest and most established meeting point for the textile industry in the region, will be held for the 22nd time from March 26-28, 2026 at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, organized by Tüyap Fair Group. The fair, which is usually held in February, will be held in March this year, bringing industry professionals together at a different time of year.
The fair will showcase a wide range of products, from organic yarns to synthetic and fancy yarns, elastane yarns to hand-knitting yarns. Participants will also have the opportunity to examine fibers and fiber products, bobbins, spools and reels, as well as textile chemicals and dyes. International Trade Platform
This year, the fair, which will feature over 500 participating companies, is expected to host approximately 20,000 visitors from more than 110 countries. Attracting significant interest from countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Iran, Russia, Egypt, and Algeria, the fair will open doors to new business connections on a regional and global scale.
It anticipates a trade volume exceeding $10 million during the fair. As Turkey’s only international specialized yarn fair, the Istanbul Yarn Fair offers participants not only the opportunity to showcase their products but also to establish new business partnerships.
Strategic Location and Sectoral Advantages
Thanks to Istanbul’s strategic geographical location, industry professionals from Europe and Asia will have easy access to the fair. With direct flights and logistical advantages, the fair will bring buyers and suppliers together under one roof. Having hosted 546 participating companies from 18 different countries and 16,921 visitors from 78 countries last year, the fair will this year showcase innovative yarn trends and sustainable production solutions in the textile sector with even broader participation. According to participant survey results, 95% of participating companies stated that they were satisfied with their overall experience, while 96% said they planned to participate again. In the visitor survey, 92% were satisfied, and 94% said they would consider visiting the fair again. These figures reinforce the fair’s position as a strong international meeting point for the sector.
