BRÜCKNER showcases the current state of modern textile finishing processes at ITMA ASIA!
Brückner Textile Technologies presented its German engineering expertise and energy-efficient line concepts at this year’s ITMA ASIA in Singapore. For over 75 years, the family-owned company has been a leader in customized technologies and solutions for textile equipment. The focus is on energy efficiency, automation, and maximum productivity. The new generation of the POWER-FRAME SFP-2 stretching frame, particularly attractive for finishing fabrics with high cotton content, is being introduced. This machine can be used in drying and heat-setting processes, is easy to clean thanks to its horizontally arranged lint filters, and incorporates an intelligent split-flow air circulation system, a vertically circulating conveyor chain, and energy-efficient motors and gas burners.
With this machine, Brückner offers an alternative to the high-tech POWER-FRAME SFP-4 stretching machine, which is efficient, requires lower investment costs, and has short delivery times. Of course, the POWER-FRAME SFP-4 stretching machine, unrivaled in terms of energy efficiency and ease of maintenance, will also be offered for demanding processes and finishing of technical textiles. Here, Brückner will introduce new features such as electrically and hydrogen-powered heating systems and intelligent software solutions for optimizing recipes. In addition, heat recovery and exhaust air treatment systems help to save energy and comply with environmental regulations.
As a new feature, a fully automated cleaning system is offered, which significantly reduces maintenance and personnel costs. Cleaning programs are flexible and freely configurable, eliminating the need to interrupt production for cleaning purposes. In principle, the new Brückner systems can be optionally equipped with various intelligent support systems that help machine operators quickly find the optimum machine settings for each process. The new ExperTex simulation tool uses artificial intelligence to simulate the desired drying or heat treatment production process on a computer. Then, various KPIs such as process times, energy consumption, CO2 footprint and production costs can be compared with each other.
This innovative system enables precise pre-calculation of orders, provides efficiency increases and/or energy savings, and makes “right production the first time” possible thanks to pre-optimized recipes. This tool and much more is available to customers in the new myBrückner customer portal. All important machine information, access to digital services and a service system are brought together here and are always accessible. Another new product is the POWER-DRY PD-1, a completely new de-stressing and shrinking dryer for finishing knitted fabrics.
This dryer is suitable for both open and tubular fabrics and can be easily integrated into an existing line concept. Customers benefit from maximum evaporation capacity at the shortest possible length, optimum shrinkage values, excellent accessibility thanks to space-saving sliding doors, horizontal lint filters, low maintenance and cleaning times and an energy-efficient absorption zone. The system can also be heated CO2-free using a hybrid system or a high-temperature heat pump. The system is specifically designed for high-quality products with soft and voluminous textures, such as polo shirts, nightgowns (interlock), single jersey shirts, or lining fabrics like sweatshirts. Customers will also benefit from a new unit in the coating sector: the OPTI-COAT 2in1 coating unit combines the advantages of a floating blade and a roller-mounted blade, providing maximum flexibility. Excellent results can be achieved with paste and foam coatings thanks to the high-precision coating roller and perfectly sharpened coating blade. Furthermore, the unit’s special design ensures optimum accessibility for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
